Some friends and I had hiked into one of the most picturesque places in the Strathcona Park. When we got to the lake to set up camp, we saw white, that is it. We couldn’t even see across the relatively small lake. The next day we decided not to summit due to the thick fog and risks associated. Instead, we set up a few tarps and shared stories and laughed all day. By the late afternoon, the clouds started to part and revealed this scene surrounding the entire lake. The sun rays started to poke through and lit up our day.
